Our new cellar door in Myrtleford

Jo marsh and bob mcnamara

If you’re visiting the Alpine Valleys there is now another cellar door to add to your wine tasting route. Head to Myrtleford where you will find our new cellar door, in partnership with our friends at Bush Track Wines. After a summer of bushfires, smoke and anxiety, we’re relieved to finally throw the doors open to welcome locals and tourists alike to our second home in Myrtleford. Myrtleford, Bright and its surrounding areas are back open for business! Bring your empty esky and fill it with a fabulous selection of delicious and interesting wines and cheeses from local producers.

Our new cellar door features wines on tasting from both Billy Button and Bush Track wines, which will be available by the glass or for bottle purchases. We’re delighted to be shining a regional spotlight on other local wineries including Bike & Barrel Wines, Mayford Wines and Dalbasco Wines. Cheese platters will be readily available, along with small deli items and other gourmet goods from local producers including The Peaks Artisan Cheesemakers. It’s the ideal space to gather with friends to enjoy some of Northern Victoria’s finest produce and the region’s best wines.

Jo Marsh (Billy Button) and Bob and Helen McNamara (Bush Track Wines) have been friends and colleagues for years and the idea of bringing their wines together at one cellar door was a dream that they have now happily made a reality. Bob is a well-established wine grower in the region and Jo has been making his wine, along with her own for many years. The opening could not be more timely, it’s the ideal place for people to come together and get a taste of just how distinctive the wines from the Alpine Valley region are.

Don’t worry, Billy Button’s cellar door in Bright is still open 7 days a week. You will find the Myrtleford Cellar Door at 161 Myrtle St, Myrtleford.
