Friulano from only six rows from Peter Taurian's vineyard was hand harvested by Glenn and Jo during early March 2016. The fruit was then gently de-stemmed to a single terracotta amphora to undergo wild fermentation and malolactic. After 120 days of maturing on skins and seeds the amphora was opended drained off with skins being basket pressed and the pressings being blended back to the wine. A futher aging of the wine for 12 months on the lees and grape soilds allowed for integration and textural development.
The wine is fresh, highly aromatic and textural.
